- When and how does Just Vero start?

From a very young age, I was involved in the world of fashion because my mother was a great dressmaker and had her own workshop. I remember spending hours there playing, making necklaces with buttons, pearls, and embroidery beads, and using leftover fabric scraps to make clothes for my dolls. I learned a lot from her, and to this day, we share the same passion.

When I started my business, the magic of social media didn't exist; I sold my accessories on the beaches, set up my stall on any street corner, and even had my street vendor's license. I was never ashamed to do it; on the contrary, I met a lot of incredible people who opened doors for me in other countries, and that's when I felt the freest, until health problems prevented me from doing it anymore.

It was then, starting in 2005, already a mother to 3-year-old Tadeo, that I began to participate in fairs as well as design for national and international brands, and in 2016 Tadeo, at 14 years old, decided to launch and position the brand on social media; after so much time together, we managed to complement each other, create and build this universe and community that is today Just Vero.

- What's it like working as a mother and son?

Working together is very enriching; we found a perfect balance by combining our skills, which has been crucial for the brand's growth.

While I focus on what I love most, which is designing and creating the accessories, Tadeo handles practically everything else, taking care of the digital direction, marketing, and keeping our website vibrant and up-to-date.

Working with Tadeo has deepened our bond. It's a true pleasure to see how he applies his energy and vision to take Just Vero to new heights.
